The Linkbasic RJB01-UC5E-EZ is a Cat5e “pass-through” modular connector designed to simplify cable termination. By allowing all eight strands of a UTP cable to pass completely through the head of the connector, this design enables you to verify your wiring order easily before crimping. When used with the TOOL-EZCRIMP (or other compatible pass-through crimping tools), the connector is crimped and the excess copper is trimmed in a single action, ensuring a strong connection and eliminating signal loss caused by partially seated wires.
Note: These RJB01-UC5E-EZ require a specialised pass-through crimping tool (such as the Linkbasic TOOL-EZCRIMP) to cut the excess wire during the termination process. Standard RJ45 crimpers will not be able to trim the excess copper strands.
